Power/Motor Control
TRECON can engineer power solutions to fit your industrial facility’s needs according to the National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE< and relevant standards. We will work with your facility to ensure proper implementation to ensure that the design goals are achieved.
Some services include:
- Specifying and Implementing:
- Switchgear and Motor Control Centers with hardwired local I/O, hardwired DCS I/O, or networked I/O
- UPS systems
- VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- Power transformers
- Using ETAP for load analyses and arc flash calculations
- Designing grounding in accordance with the NEC
- Designing lighting systems
- Designing feeders installed in conduit or cable trays ranging from 15kV down to 120VAC for various loads.
Instrumentation
TRECON can specify the proper instruments and valves to meet your industrial facility’s design needs. Our technicians are experienced in bench calibrations and field calibrations of various models, and we can perform inspection services to make sure the installation is done correctly.
Panel Design & Fabrication
TRECON has an in-house panel shop to build custom-designed panels in accordance with the NEC and UL508A standards to meet project needs. We test each panel and have a QC process to ensure the correct functionality prior to leaving our facilities. We can facilitate factory acceptance testing (FAT) services if required, and we perform site commissioning services.
Drafting
TRECON has professional designers and drafters to produce the required documentation for your project including, but not limited to, panel layout and wiring diagrams, loop diagrams, motor elementary and wiring diagrams, location plans, and P&IDs.
